I. International Industry Trends
From a global perspective, FRP composites have become a core category in the global upgrade of new materials, with very stable market growth momentum.
Currently, industry demands for product quality continue to rise. Customized FRP products featuring low wastage, high weather resistance, and high strength have become the market mainstream, while low-end, low-quality products are gradually being phased out. Combining stability, cost-effectiveness, and eco-friendliness, FRP materials have become the primary choice for upgrading traditional materials across various industries, with broad market prospects.
Leveraging rigorous raw material selection, mature composite processes, and product performance tailored to market needs, we consistently adhere to high-quality production standards and keep pace with industry trends. We provide customers with durable, safe, and cost-effective custom FRP products suitable for all application scenarios.
II. Three-Layer Composite Structure
Our FRP products utilize an industry-standard three-layer integrated composite structure, consisting of a gelcoat layer, a resin layer, and a fiberglass layer that are tightly bonded and cured together. Each of these three layers plays a distinct role and is indispensable, enhancing the overall performance of the product from the ground up.
The gelcoat layer serves as the protective barrier on the surface of the FRP, playing a key role in both the product’s aesthetic appeal and weather resistance. Made from specialized weather-resistant gelcoat material, it features a fine, dense texture that effectively seals out air, rain, UV rays, and corrosive acid and alkali mists. Not only does it offer a smooth, even surface with consistent color that resists fading, but it also possesses anti-aging, stain-resistant, and wear-resistant properties, ensuring it will not peel, crack, or yellow even after long-term outdoor use.
The resin layer serves as the adhesive core and structural backbone of the FRP. As the matrix material, it firmly bonds all components into a single, cohesive unit. High-quality, industrial-grade unsaturated resin is selected for its excellent flow and penetration properties, ensuring a perfect bond between the glass fiber and gel coat and integrating the three-layer structure into a unified whole. Once cured, it offers exceptional toughness and stability, effectively absorbing external impacts while providing superior corrosion resistance, waterproofing, and leak prevention, thereby eliminating issues such as delamination or material detachment.
The glass fiber layer serves as the structural framework of FRP, renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Utilizing high-purity glass fiber strands and mats, this layer is uniformly distributed within the resin through a multi-layer layup process. It significantly enhances the product’s tensile strength and compressive resistance, endowing lightweight FRP with hardness comparable to metal while avoiding the drawbacks of metal—such as deformation and rust—and thus serves as the core guarantee of FRP’s high-strength performance.
III. Material Innovation
Leveraging a scientifically optimized three-layer material ratio and mature manufacturing processes, our FRP products transcend the limitations of traditional materials to meet the demanding requirements of diverse applications, offering distinct core advantages.
First is lightweight yet high-strength: FRP weighs only about one-fourth as much as steel, making it easy to transport and install while significantly reducing construction costs.
At the same time, it meets strength standards and can satisfy the load-bearing requirements of equipment, infrastructure, and outdoor facilities. Second is exceptional corrosion resistance: it withstands acidic, alkaline, humid, and salt-fog environments, offering a service life far exceeding that of metal or wood in chemical, marine, and outdoor settings. It resists rust and aging, significantly extending the product’s lifespan.
Furthermore, the product is weather-resistant and anti-aging. Protected by a gel coat layer, it withstands extreme temperatures, intense sunlight, rain, and snow, remaining intact even after years of use.
Additionally, it features insulation, flame retardancy, and waterproofing properties, ensuring high safety standards and making it suitable for specialized applications such as power generation, energy storage, and waterproofing projects.
Finally, the material offers exceptional versatility, allowing for customization in various shapes, sizes, and colors to meet diverse project requirements and adapt to a wide range of application scenarios.
